1. Who we are
ClientsCave is operated by ClientsCave Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms, "ClientsCave", "we" and "us" mean ClientsCave Ltd; "you" means the person or business using the service. You can reach us at hello@clientscave.com.
By creating an account or using clientscave.com or app.clientscave.com, you agree to these terms. If you are using ClientsCave on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
ClientsCave is a curated lead service. Our team finds publicly posted client requirements on LinkedIn — posts where a person or business asks to hire a freelancer or agency — checks them by hand, categorises them and publishes them to our lead wall. Spending a credit unlocks the full detail of a lead, including the source post and the information you need to respond.
Two things we want to be unambiguous about:
- We supply information, not work. We are not a party to any contract between you and a client you contact through a lead. We do not vet clients as counterparties, guarantee they will reply, or guarantee you will win work.
- Leads reflect a moment in time. We verify each lead when we publish it and mark status changes when we spot them, but public posts can be filled, edited or deleted at any moment after publication. Our Refund Policy sets out what happens when a lead turns out to be dead.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and using ClientsCave for business purposes (as a freelancer, agency or company looking for client work).
- Registration details must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- One account per user. Plans with multiple seats allow the stated number of named users; sharing one login across several people is not permitted.
- Tell us promptly at hello@clientscave.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Credits and subscriptions
Plain-English summary: credits unlock leads; subscriptions top your credits up each month; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Free credits. New accounts receive three free credits so you can judge lead quality before paying. No payment card is required for a free account.
- How credits work. One credit unlocks one lead, permanently for your account. Credit allowances, rollover behaviour and any expiry for each plan or pack are stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase, and those statements form part of these terms.
- Billing. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; we never see or store your full card details.
- Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel in the app at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access (and remaining credits) until then.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. If a change affects an active subscription, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can cancel first.
- Refunds. Our Refund Policy — including the 14-day money-back promise on your first subscription payment and the dead-lead credit-back promise — forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
5. Acceptable use
Most of this is common sense. Using ClientsCave, you agree not to:
- resell, republish, scrape or systematically redistribute leads or any part of our database — leads are licensed for your own business development, not for onward supply;
- contact the people behind leads in bulk or with automated tools, or in any way that breaches applicable marketing and anti-spam law (including the UK GDPR and PECR) or LinkedIn's own terms — one relevant, human reply is the entire point of the product;
- share your account beyond the seats included in your plan, or create multiple free accounts to harvest free credits;
- attempt to probe, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service or other users' access to it;
- use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach this section (see section 9). Where a breach is minor and looks accidental, we will normally warn you first.
6. Intellectual property
- The ClientsCave site, app, brand, design and the selection, curation and arrangement of our lead database belong to us or our licensors.
- When you unlock a lead, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own business development. You do not acquire ownership of lead content, much of which originates from public posts written by third parties.
- Feedback you send us about the service may be used by us without obligation to you.
7. Third parties and LinkedIn
ClientsCave is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. "LinkedIn" is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Leads link to or reference content hosted on third-party platforms which have their own terms; your use of those platforms is between you and them.
8. Disclaimers and liability
We work hard on curation, but a service built on other people's public posts cannot come with outcome guarantees. To the extent the law allows:
- the service is provided "as available" — we do not warrant that any lead will be accurate after publication, that a client will respond, or that you will win work;
- we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service;
- our total liability to you in respect of the service is capped at the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Suspension and termination
- You can close your account at any time from the app or by emailing us. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in the Refund Policy or as required by law.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service or terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of anything you have prepaid.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give existing customers at least 14 days' notice by email before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also rely on mandatory consumer protections and courts of your home nation.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: hello@clientscave.com. A human replies within one business day.
